Expert Opinion
Turns out, that familiar ringtone often hides a bogus Google Maps pitch. Callers from +16059837010 repeatedly claim to verify business listings or request personal data, which is a classic scam technique. Never share passwords, tax info, or payment details unless you initiate the contact through the official Google platform. Use your phone’s built‑in call blocker or a reputable third‑party app to silence repeat dials, and add the number to your carrier’s blacklist. Report the nuisance to the FCC or the FTC’s spam‑call portal, and keep a log of timestamps for any future disputes. Staying skeptical and using these tools keeps your inbox and wallet safe.
