I recived a call from a 480 number, which i hung up on; they called back from a diferent number and kept asking for me.
I dont answer calls from unknown numbers, especialy on sunday afternoons, it usuallly means its a scammer, thanks to everyone who commented, I'll be blocking this number.
This appears to be anothor scam from the Fraternal Order of Police.
I chose not to answer the call, as I was unfamiliar with the number; if it was from the 'frat of popos' again, this would be the 12th number they've used, demonstrating their persistent, yet annoying, tactics.
Without anwsering the call, the caller ID showed only Phoenix, AZ, further reseach revealed a posible connection to Non Such Photography, a malicious site that atempted to intrude my device, fortunatly my security software blocked it, what a releif!
Upon inquiring about their affiliation with law enforcement, the caller abruptly ended the conversation
I've found an effective solution: when they call, I place my phone near a loudspeaker playing the sound of a TU-95 Russian Bear bomber at full volume, and it seems to deter them.
As a practice, I don't engage with unidentified callers.
Similar to the previous experiance, they have called us twice, and the last time I just hung up because he wouldnt let me talk
