Expert Opinion
Heads up—these calls are classic charity‑fundraising scams that masquerade as legitimate nonprofits. Callers often use vague names like Fundraising Group and press for donations at odd hours, ignoring do‑not‑call rules. Never share personal or financial info with an unsolicited caller, and hang up if the pitch feels rushed or vague. Block the number on your device and report it to the FCC’s Do‑Not‑Call Registry. Consider using a reputable call‑blocking app and regularly review your phone’s privacy settings. Staying skeptical and taking quick action can keep your inbox and wallet safe.
