Oregon government number keeps ringing – what to do? - +1 541-471-8299 ((541) 471-8299)
Summary — +15414718299
Expert Opinion
Send unknown calls from +15414718299 to voicemail and review the message before returning it. The number is a shared Oregon state government trunk line, often used by the Department of Human Services, Employment Department, Revenue Office, and other agencies. Because it can appear on caller‑ID as a residential address, treat it with caution. Verify any request by contacting the agency directly using a known official number, and never share Social Security, banking, or password details over the phone. Consider adding the number to your block list or using a call‑screening app, and register with the national Do‑Not‑Call Registry to reduce spam. Stay alert for spoofing tactics and recognize that legitimate government outreach usually leaves a clear voicemail or email follow‑up.
