Expert Opinion
Oddly enough, the same number keeps ringing late at night with vague allegations and threats. Most reports point to a fake debt‑collection scam that pretends to represent companies like United Recovery Services. Never share personal or financial details, and hang up if the caller can’t verify identity. Block the number on your phone, and consider adding it to a call‑blocking app. Report the incident to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and your carrier’s fraud department. Keep a log of call times and scripts – this makes reporting easier and helps you spot patterns. Stay skeptical and protect your information.
