Expert Opinion
When a call pops up labeled ‘Gambrills MD’ and the script circles around selling your house, the pattern feels rehearsed and pushy. The static‑line excuse and rapid callbacks are classic tactics to keep you on the line while gauging interest. Block the number, report it to the FTC, and add it to your phone’s do‑not‑call list. If the caller claims affiliation with a major brokerage, verify directly with the company using an official number—never trust the caller‑ID tag. Keep a log of timestamps; multiple hits in a short span usually signal a robocall or a cold‑sale scam.
