Patterns emerge as callers repeatedly claim to represent United Health Care and push unsolicited in‑home health visits. They often ask irrelevant questions about phone models, a classic red flag of fraudulent outreach. Recipients should never disclose personal or medical details until the caller’s identity is verified through an official channel. Adding the number to the national Do‑Not‑Call registry, using carrier blocking tools, and installing reputable call‑filter apps can sharply reduce exposure. If a call feels suspicious, hang up, document the time and number, and report it to the FTC or your state consumer protection office. Staying vigilant keeps spam and scams at bay.
