Avis d’expert
Yesterday afternoon, a wave of calls from +14169410408 claimed to be from TD Bank. The script typically offers a free credit‑monitoring or identity‑theft service, asks for name, birthdate, address, and tries to persuade you to sign up for a trial period. The callers often sound robotic and switch between female and male voices, which is a hallmark of auto‑dialed scams. Hang up immediately, do not provide personal data, and block the number. Report the incident to your bank’s fraud department and to the Canadian Anti‑Fraud Centre. Consider placing the number on a do‑not‑call list and monitor your credit reports for any unauthorized activity.
