Got a call from this number sayin its total credit recovery. I just got this number and told them to remove me from the list. They called me again the next day. I called them back and they said it takes 8 hrs to remove me from the system. They called me again the next day. What can i do to stop them?
In ontario, collection agencies only have 2 yrs to collect debt. If you cant pay, dont. If they call you at work, tell them to stop. See a credit councillor if you need to. Dont deal with collection agencies

I read this articl that said dont ackowledge 'em. I'm tryin to keep my current stuff up to date and just lettin the old stuff go. My credit score's finaly gettin better. If it's a 1-800 number, I just let it ring.
Yo, guys, in ontario, ther's a 2 yr limit for collections. If they dont take action, they cant take you to court. Just remember, if you talk to 'em or negociate, the clock starts over. Best thing to do is just ignore 'em.
