Despite being on the DNC list, charities are legally allowed to make calls, although alot of the funds raised go to the telemarketing companys, and it's considerd unethnical for charities to use these services, to reduce such calls, you should contact your Congressman and US Senators to abolish the DNC list exemption for charities.
