Expert Opinion
Watch out for calls that demand immediate action and threaten legal consequences. These scripts typically cite vague “complaints” or “fraud” and push you to dial a 404‑994‑2810 extension within hours. Never share personal data or confirm debts without a written validation from the actual creditor. If the caller can’t name a legitimate company, hang up and report the number to the FTC or your state’s consumer protection agency. Use call‑blocking tools and keep a log of the timestamps; patterns often reveal a single operation masquerading under different aliases. Stay calm, verify in writing, and protect your credit.
