Despite not distributing my cell phone number and using a landline for all business and personal calls, I received a call from this number, leaving me uncertain about how they obtained my information.

Yesterday afternoon, a wave of calls claiming to be from the CDC flooded my phone, each pausing for a breath before a robotic questionnaire. The pattern matches classic robocall scams that impersonate government health agencies to harvest personal data. Hang up immediately, block the number, and report it to your carrier and the FTC. Never share household or health details with unsolicited callers, and verify any survey by contacting the agency directly through official channels. Consider using a call‑blocking app and enable carrier‑level spam filters. If the calls persist, file a complaint with the FCC to help curb the abuse.

As someone who keeps their cell phone number private and only uses a landline for business, I was surprised to find that this number had somehow obtained my information; I didn't answer the call and instead looked up the number to see who it belonged to.
I dont give out my cell phone number, but i still recieved a call from this number, i didnt answer and looked it up insted
Notably, Ive had no calls from outside sources despite having a cell phone, and I only use a land line for buisness and all calls, which is why I didnt answer and looked up the number instead.
Given that my cell phone number is private and I exclusively use a landline for calls and business, it's puzzling how this number was obtained, and I did not answer the call.

They've called me several times, but when i call back, they dont answer or they give me a recording, it's suspicious
It was strange to receive a call from someone claiming to be from the CDC, but when I called back, I was transferred to a business in Colorado, which raises suspicions.
It seemed really strange, first someone claiming to be "Michael+ from the CDC called, I hung up and felt bad so I called back, but then I got transfered to a buisness in Colorado, dont answer this number
It seem alot weird, somebody call me claiming to be from CDC, i didnt want to talk so i hung up, but then i feel bad and call back, when i call back it was answer quickly but then i hear ringing and get transfer to some bussiness in colorado, that was a week ago, today i recieve 2 call from the same number, dont answer, i dont know what they want.
This experience has been quite bizarre. Initially, the caller claimed to be 'Michael' from the CDC, but when I called back, I was transferred to a business in Colorado. Today, I received two more calls from the same number, and I have no idea what they want. It is best to avoid answering calls from this number.
Its been a wierd experiance with this number, first a person claimed to be from the CDC and then i got transferd to a bussiness in colorado
After participating initially, I grew suspicious when I found myself repeating answers, and then they asked serious questions about pre-existing conditions, leading me to end the interview, yet I received three more calls, and when I requested email confirmation, they asked for my email address, which raised concerns since that's how I got my vaccination appointment, making me question the authenticity of this campaign.
The questions asked were both personal and absurd.
I've been contacted by someone regarding immunisation informations from the CDC
