Ever wonder why a stranger keeps dialing your work line at odd hours? This pattern often signals a robodialer or a social engineering attempt. The repeated use of a medical title and specific personal details suggests the caller is harvesting data from another source, then trying to legitimize the call. Block the number on all devices, report it to your carrier, and consider a call‑blocking app. Never confirm personal or employment info unless you’ve initiated the contact. If the calls persist, file a complaint with the FTC and your state’s consumer protection agency.
