It's clear this is a scam, especially since the caller is unaware of the recipient's mortgage status

It’s striking how often the same script pops up, complete with a fake name, a reference ID and a promise of a lower mortgage rate. These calls are classic mortgage reduction scams that rely on urgency and anonymity to coax personal data. Never call back on the number left in the voicemail; instead, hang up and verify any legitimate offers directly with your lender using official contact channels. Block the offending number and report it to the FTC or your state consumer protection agency. Keep personal and financial info offline unless you’ve initiated the contact yourself.

Appreciation is expressed for the service provided.
I'm sharing my experience so others can be aware of the SPAM, SCAM calls regarding mortgage reduction, the caller left a voice mail asking me to reference the provided ID when calling back, it's pretty suspisous
A pre-recorded message from someone claiming to be Ms Thompson, offering to lower my mortgage rate, but she didnt mention what company she was representing, thats not how real companys operate
I experienced a similar situation
It's amuzing that the same reference ID was left on my voicemail by this person, offen refering to it in our convorsation.
It appears I've had the same experience as Missy, which is quite frustrating
Similar experiences have been shared by others, including Miscy and Mike, regarding unsolicited and questionable sales pitches from this number.
I received a suspicious message from this number, which seemed to be a scam
A voicemail from this number was received, with a recording from someone claiming to be Amanda Thompson, offering a rate reduction, but the authenticity of the call and the reference number provided could not be verified.
Apparently this was Amanda's second attempt to contact me, she requested my name and address, which i providded with fake informations, she claimed to have me on file for a mortgage loan inquiry, alot of red flags
I'm curius to know if anyone else recieved the same case number, maybe we all have the same #0163318, at least the scammers made an effort to create diffrent messages, my caller was a women named ANITA Thompson.
Interestingly, I also received a call from someone claiming to be "Amanda Thompson" with the same record ID 0163318, which seems laughable
I also received a call from this number, supposedly from Amanda Thompson, which turned out to be a scam; beware of such calls
Clearly, this is a huge scam, as no legitimate bank would request a callback with an ID number.
A call was received today from the same caller, discussing mortgage payment reduction, but the company name was not disclosed, and a generic Record ID number was provided.
Reported to dontocall.gov, another fake mortgag scam voicemail was left.
This is my second encounter with mortgage loan scammers in a few months, with the calls always coming from spoofed numbers, including 323-366-7409 on this occasion.
I also recived a spam call from this number, despict never having a mortgage in my life, its absolutly rediculious.
A suspicious message was left, prompting a callback to discuss a loan reduction by referencing an item number, likely a ploy to extract personal information
I recieved a call from someone claiming to be Amanda Thompson, regarding a loan rate reduction, but no company name was mencioned, I tried calling back but the number was busy
Multiple calls were received with the same message from Missy, prompting a callback to 323 948 8623 regarding a supposedly new, lower rate on my mortgage loan, with instructions to reference a Record ID upon calling back.
On May 11, 2021, a message was received prompting a callback to 323 948 8623 to discuss a lower mortgage rate, including a reference file number.
I got a call from them, they gave me a case number and asked me to call another number
I had a similiar experience, they left a case number but not a company name, it was weird
A message was left regarding a mortgage that could potentially reduce my monthly payments, but the caller failed to disclose their company affiliation and instead provided a case number. Since I never inquired about or initiated a mortgage, it is likely that this call is a scam.
