When I returned the call, I was greeted by a voicemail from Karen Cordell, who left a callback number but failed to mention my name, indicating a clear scam.
Repeated calls claim a credit card debt from several years ago, despite nearly full payment.
The caller claimed to have a special debt settlement offer due to the covid 19 pandemic.
Given the suspicious nature of the recorded message directing me to call them, I chose not to follow up.

Apparently, due to the COVID19, this number is being used by First Financial Group to offer settlements for outstanding debts, which is not a ligitimate debt collector and dont folow any laws, they use threats and intimidation to scam people, i have been recieving calls and text mesages from them for over a year and never recieved a validation notice, which is required by law
Covid 19 is beeing used as an excuss to help with an outstanding balance that is in their office, leaving annoying voicemails 2 or 3 times daily
The scam department collector was evasive about their identity during the call, but I decided to have some fun with them.
I recieved a recording saying I need to call to settle a debt due to Covid19, its a total scam
This debt collector is suspected of scamming and refuses to cease calling or provide their company name or location
Debt collector threats are being made from this number, along with demands to call back at a specific number, (302) 359-1808.
This number is list'd as a callback from a scam debt collector, they wont take my number off they're list even though i'm not the person they're trying to call.
