Ekspertvurdering
Like a storm flashing warnings on a radar, these unexpected calls from +1‑267‑838‑9030 can feel like a sudden gust blowing through your inbox. The pattern—multiple brief recordings about power outages, no voicemail, and occasional claims of unpaid bills—matches the typical script used by PECO’s automated outage alerts, but scammers often copy that format. Protect your privacy by never confirming account numbers or payment details over the phone. Instead, hang up, look up PECO’s official 800‑555‑xxxx number, and verify the notice on the company’s website or app. If the call seems aggressive, add the number to your block list and file a complaint with the FTC or your state’s consumer protection agency. Keeping a log of call times can also help you spot repeat harassment.
