Blue Cross sometimes makes robocalls that may have glitches or bad connections, but they provide advice as a service to their members without being asked.

Ekspertvurdering
Patterns emerge from the sample: the majority of callers identify themselves as Independence Blue Cross and the messages are automated health‑screening reminders. The tone is consistently robotic, often mentioning cholesterol, mammograms, or pap tests, which suggests a systematic outreach program rather than a scam. If you recognize the insurer as your provider, the call is likely legitimate, but you can still verify by logging into your member portal or calling the official customer service number. To avoid unwanted interruptions, consider opting out of automated reminders through the insurer’s website, and always let unknown numbers go to voicemail before returning the call.
