Expert Opinion
They keep calling me multiple times a day and hanging up as soon as I answer, which feels like relentless debt‑collection harassment. Most of these calls appear to come from a Chase collections center in San Antonio, even when the recipient has no Chase account. To protect yourself, add the number to your carrier’s block list, register on the national Do‑Not‑Call registry, and consider sending a written cease‑and‑desist request via certified mail. If the calls persist, file a complaint with the FTC and your state’s consumer protection agency. Keeping detailed call logs will help any future legal action.
