The calls started over the weekend, and they have been frequent, approximately every hour, and after speaking with someone, they inquired about a platinum visa card, which is not owned, and then requested the last four digits of the social security number, which was refused.

Expert Opinion
They keep calling me multiple times a day and hanging up as soon as I answer, which feels like relentless debt‑collection harassment. Most of these calls appear to come from a Chase collections center in San Antonio, even when the recipient has no Chase account. To protect yourself, add the number to your carrier’s block list, register on the national Do‑Not‑Call registry, and consider sending a written cease‑and‑desist request via certified mail. If the calls persist, file a complaint with the FTC and your state’s consumer protection agency. Keeping detailed call logs will help any future legal action.

It's imperative that these incessant calls cease, as receiving upwards of 50 calls daily has become unbearable, and a solution to stop them is desperately needed.
Everytime I try to answer, there's just silence in the background, so I hang up, and then they call back 30 minutes to an hour later and do the same thing, it's really annoying, I wish they would just leave a messge or something
Numerous phone calls have been recieved from this number, occuring more then 10 times daily. Despite being told they have the wrong number, they persist, posible trying to colllect debts from customers, which is understanable, but the freqency of calls without leaving messages or only background noise is absolutly unacceptible!
