Many users report that the number shows up as a Research Center and rings repeatedly at all hours, often after 8 PM. The pattern points to a high‑volume survey operation that relies on aggressive dialing and occasional spoofed IDs. Callers typically ask for personal details or confirm voter registration, then hang up or leave no voicemail. If you’re on the Do‑Not‑Call list, blocking the number on your device or registering with the FTC’s Do Not Call registry can reduce exposure, though compliance is spotty. Consider using a call‑screening app and never share sensitive information to unknown survey callers.
