I got two calls from this number on back-to-back days. Both times they mentioned some file and helpin' me through the pandemic. They called my old Fongo number - I set it up in Canada 8 years ago before I moved to Vietnam. It's not the first time I've gotten calls like this over the years, so I called 'em back. I was kinda interested since I used to live in Winnipeg for 18 years, but that was ages ago. I called back to ask why they were callin', but the guy wouldn't give me any info.
Commercial Credit Adjusters are tryin' to collect old debts that are past the 'Statute of Limitations' in Canada. Just dont answer the phone and dont talk to 'em - everythin'll be fine.
I got one of these calls too - said it was from Montreal. I dont have any dealin's with The Royal Bank, though... so yeah, it's probably a scam. When are we gonna be free from these unwarranted calls on our personal and buisness lines?
NEW INFO!!!! If you get a call on your cell phone and it doesnt show the number, I think they're crossin' some major privacy lines. They somehow managed to acess my contacts and twice now it's come up as one of my contact names with the number 204-318-5105. I'm pretty shure that's 100% ilegal, just like the rest of the harrassment they do.
