This individul claimd to be from NATA, but upon further investiation, it aparently turned out to be a scam as they dont have him on their staff.
I recently received a call similar to those described by others, where the caller sought to confirm contact information for FAA listings.
This number is a scam, they have called twice with diferent stories, always asking for the CEO by name
A caller claiming to be from NATA, identified as 'Department' on the caller ID, raised suspicions of a potential scam.
I received a call on my mobile from someone claiming to be Ryan from NATA, who repeatedly asked to speak with the company owner without providing clarification on which owner he meant, leading me to suggest he contact the corporate office directly.

When this guy called, he claimed his name was Graham and was calling regarding NATA, but when I asked him which company he was with, he just repeated the same thing, obviously not calling from NATA's actual phone number, seems pretty illegitimate to me

Apparently, when we returned the call, the individual on the other end failed to provide identification as a representative of the Dept of Veteran's Affairs, and seemed unfamiliar with Carl Baker; furthermore, a call was received claiming to be from Ben Waller of the same department.
Upon investigation, it appears that a media company is behind these calls, which target various units within our company, inquiring about the president of each, and falsely claiming prior business dealings with entities like universities or the VA.
