IRS Lawsuit Threat Call? How to Spot the Scam! - +1 202-492-8816 ((202) 492-8816)

For months, I received calls from this number, with the last one occurring about 3 or 4 weeks ago, always with the same urgent message, but when I finally called back, the number was out of service, revealing a bizarre scam.

This is just another apparent scam.

This is the same IRS scam thats been going arond, the IRS usualy contact you by mail, not phone, and certanly not from a celular number.

A call was recieved from someone claiming to be from the IRS, but it was likely a scam, as we had recently paid our tax bill, and the caller hung up when confroned with this informtion

A recorded message threatened a lawsuit if I didn't return the call, which I suspected was a scam

I got a scam call from someone claiming to be from the IRS, with a thick accent, but I told him that a US federal marshal lived on my street, and he quickly hung up.

A robotic voice claiming to be Shawn Williams from the Internal Review Service called, falsely stating the IRS was suing me.

When asked to verify my SS# as proof of being from the IRS, the caller claimed it couldn't be shared over the phone, revealing a likely scam by Indian fraudsters.

Similar to other posts, I recieved a pre-recorded robo call claiming the IRS would be taking legal action against me, the only informations displayed were the number and location, Washington, DC, I didn't anser but listend to the recorded message afterwards, it's clear that this call type should be classified as a Scam.

We also recieved a call supposidly from the IRS, claimin they have a lawsuit against us...lol..totaly a SCAM!!!

Its a scam, they said the IRS is going to sue me and the only way to resolve it is to withdraw $9371 from my bank to pay them, they told me they would call me on my cell phone to give me the payment instructions, I dont beleive it

The caller was informed that I had already spoken with the IRS and had no issues, prompting them to question my honesty and threaten arrest

I recieved several calls from this number, they claimes to be from the IRS and said they was filing a lawsuit against me

Fortunately, I was cautious when I received a call from this number today, as they falsely claimed to be from the IRS. After letting them speak, I informed them that I would need to consult with my husband and tax attorney before taking any action. When I asked for my address, they provided incorrect information, at which point I ended the call.

On Tuesday morning, I received a call and voicemail from this number, which featured a prerecorded message claiming a lawsuit had been filed against me by the IRS, with a woman's voice and a barking dog in the background

A message was left claiming to be from the IRS, asserting it was their final attempt to contact us and that failing to return the call immediately would result in a lawsuit against us.

I had to report this numbur to the police dept after recieving multiple calls claiming to be from the IRS, apperantly they dont make calls.
